Eng. Michael Kamau Karanja, has officially taken over as the new CECM for Roads, Transport, and Public works from his predecessor Eng. Reuben Maritim.

Welcoming his successor to the office during a handover ceremony held at the Roads offices, Eng Reuben Maritim thanked the administration for their support that has seen the department make great strides in service delivery.

At the same time Eng. Michael promised to roll his sleeves and work in harmony with all the officers so as to mainstream the departmental services to greater heights.

Eng. Michael was sworn in yesterday in an event attended by Governor Susan Kihika.

The handover was witnessed by Ag. Director Eng. Symon Kariuki (Roads and Transport)
